1. Do Not Kill

2. Do Not Lie

2.4. 4. Society will become more peaceful and orderly.

3. Do Not Take Intoxicant

3.1. 1. Taking intoxicants will make us less wise.

3.2. 2. They are harmful to health

3.3. 3. We might hurt each other when being drunk or losing consciousness.

4. Do Not Indulge in Sexual Misconduct

4.1. 1. Adultery acts involve physcial and mental injury to other should be prohibited.

4.2. 2. Sexual desire is main cause of rebirth in the Six Paths.

4.3. 3. Having enemies, being hated, etc. are the consequences of sexual misconduct.

5. Do Not Steal

5.1. 1. Respect other's properties and right to own property.

5.2. 2. If something is not given, one may not take it away by stealing.

5.3. 3. One should avoid misusing money or property belongs to public and other people.
