2. 3.b - Students apply digital tools to gather, evaluate, and use information. Students: locate, organize, analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and ethically use information from a variety of sources and media.
3. Students will use the internet to research and create a topographical map of the different produce grown in the Central Valley. They will work in pairs to complete this project. A list of websites will be included to assist them in their research.
4. 2.4.1 - Describe food production and consumption long ago and today, including the roles of farmers, processors, distributors, weather, and land and water resources.
5. California Content Standard - Social Studies -2.4 Students understand basic economic concepts and their individual roles in the economy and demonstrate basic economic reasoning skills
