2.1. Definition:The elements fo physical and psychological well-being related to digital technology use
2.2. Appropriate Use: Students watch their health while on the computer
2.3. Inappropriate Use: A teenager spends too much time on their laptop each night
3. Ditital Security
3.1. Definition:The precautions that all technology users must take to guarantee their personal safety and the security of their network
3.2. Appropriate Use: Someone uploads a new virus protection program onto their computer
3.3. Inappropriate Use: Someone allows a virus onto their computer because they were not protected
4. Digital Law
4.1. Definition:The legal rights and restrictions governing technology use
4.2. Appropriate Use: Someone refuses to download illegal videos
4.3. Inappropriate Use: Someone illegally downloads a movie from the internet

5.1. Definition:The capability to use digital technology and knowiing when and how to use it
5.2. Appropriate Use: An office worker uses a new computer program they recieved at work
5.3. Inappropriate Use: An office worker cannot use a new program or does not know how to use it

6.2. Appropriate use:Using technology for educational activites
6.3. Inappropriate use:Not allowing students to have the same resources for the same project

7.1. Definition: The buying and selling of goods online
7.2. Appropriate use:Students should know what sites are good for buying products
7.3. Inappropriate use:When you buy something online and you don't protect your identity

8.1. Definition: The electronic exchange of information
8.2. Appropriate use:Only in free time, not while working on school related activities
8.3. Inappropriate use:Using a cellphone while in class

9.1. Definition: the capability to use digital technology and knowing when and how to use it
9.2. Appropriate use: To learn rules of the website before you use it
