What is technology?

1. What I thought it was before?

1.1. Phones, Laptop

1.2. Internet

1.3. To my knowledge, in terms of definition, technology is the new things we create that makes life easier for us. Technology in my opinion is a creation of something innovative that didn’t exist before, like phones, cars, computers, planes, etc.

3. How is my perception have changed?

4. It is beyond the physical things, such as machines, tools or gadgets. It is the applied science through ideas, processes, skills, techniques and knowledge to achieve the desired result.

5. Over the past years, technology has made things easier, such as jobs or even technology itself. Technology is basically progression, things get more advanced that they already were.

5.1. Telephones turned into smart phones

5.2. Chalk boards turned into smart boards

5.3. Pencil Sharpeners were invented to make the use of pencils easier

6. Conclusion

6.1. No concrete definition can define technology. It existed from the time, the ancient human beings harnessed the forces of nature, such as energy to produce, fire to cook food, and continuously evolving with time to produce many more things such as steel, electricity, etc.

8. Technology is a combination of two greek words, "techne" and "logos". Techne is art, craft, or method and logos is the principle of reason, ratio, account, or balance.

10. Technology is a kind of bag of tricks that changes every then and how but helps to live easily. It is a power for countries that are developing and are already developed.

11. “Technology is messy and complex. It is difficult to define and to understand.
