Kirsten is an avid game player. Because of her language
difficulties, Kirsten has not mastered telling time. Kirsten can choose the

Strategy 2: Oral
response accuracy: To help Kirsten come up with accurate oral responses, Kirsten
can practice listening to the time with a game - Talking Clock. She can use
the mini whiteboard to write down the times when playing the game and orally share
the time with a partner or teacher. This will help her to orally tell time
accurately and gain more confidence in her ability to tell time accurately.

SWABAT: Students will use a number line to add and subtract time intervals in minutes.
