Newton's Three Laws of Motion により Mind Map: Newton's Three Laws of Motion

1. 1st Law

1.1. Called the law of inertia.

1.1.1. Objects in motion stay in motion unless a force acts upon it. Objects at rest stay at rest unless a force acts upon it.

1.1.1.1. example 1

1.1.1.1.1. A car being slowed down by applying the breaks.

1.1.1.2. example 2

1.1.1.2.1. Friction from the ground slowing down a ball that is rolled.

1.1.1.3. example 3

1.1.1.3.1. Gravity acting on bullet that was fired in the air.

2. 2nd Law

2.1. This is the Law of Force and acceleration.

2.1.1. Force = Mass x Acceleration

2.1.1.1. example 1

2.1.1.1.1. Wind pushing a sail boat.

2.1.1.2. example 2

2.1.1.3. example 3

2.1.1.3.1. A person kicking a ball.

3. 3rd Law

3.1. This is the law of motion.

3.1.1. For every action there is an equal an opposite reaction

3.1.1.1. example 1
