Challenges and concerns of implementing ICT in my school

1. Management

1.1. Role of school administration should be concerned and involved.

1.2. Commitment of the Principal

1.3. Support technological and pedagogical innovations

2. Professional Development

2.1. Professional knowledge and skills of some teachers are weak.

2.2. Lack of trust and innovation

2.2.1. Lack of interest in ICT

2.3. Resistance to change and integrate ICT of some teachers.

2.3.1. No governmental policy to require the use of ICT in Primary

2.3.2. Lack of confidence in their own abilities

3. Time

3.1. Look for apps, tools, sites and teaching resources takes time.

3.2. Work in teams

3.3. Their ownership and their explotation take some time

3.4. There is no enoguh time with other task and roles the teachers have.

4. Education/Learning- Culture

4.1. Specialist, pedagogical coordinators and teachers should collaborate together.

4.2. Parent´s knowledge about changes in the implementing of ICT.

4.3. Children´s learning and the quality of the education
